Jr. FLL is an international robotics program for kids from ages 6-9. Students are given a real-world challenge to research throughout their season. They create a story board of information and build a Lego prototype of an innovative, possible solution to the task. They are guided through this program and are taught math and science concepts all while learning the numerous ways that careers in STEM can change the world.

This past year, the Killer Bees started their first Jr. FLL team, the WannaBees, and the challenge was Senior Solutions. The team learned about FIRST, developed teamwork skills, and built a Lego prototype of a chair for seniors. This is a great introduction to the FIRST program.
